FEY students hosted a birthday party today for Mr Dobee. They planned the party as part of their unit of inquiry “Pass it On!” which investigates how we celebrate special occasions.
The children decided a Pirate theme would be good as Mr Dobee is a boy , he likes pirates and we have our own pirate ship in the playground.
The party planners made invitations, cards, decorations and decided what we should eat. We used our writing and drawing skills to make cards,our Maths skills to count out goodies for party packs and patterning skills when we made decorations.
Our guests came from G1 and K3 and helped Mr Dobee have a lovely celebration.
Mr Dobee had 5 resounding Arrr! cheers from the students. He said it was the best pirate party he has ever been to. Thank you lovely students!
