Jackson: Over the holidays I stayed at home. I played on my Ipad and we ocassionaly went out. It was fun. This past week at school has been interesting. We have been working hard on the exhibition and we will soon finish our reserch. Overall we have been having fun. Also there has been some competition for who can eat the most apples in one day. Also just today the class erupted into laughter when I said I should be in a box marked quarantine.
Taif: my fave moment at Explore Oman Week was when Shahad was doing the TV and Mr.Hampton also. I liked when Shahad went crazy and started screaming her head off it was funny and noisy. My holiday week was relaxing because I played with my ipad and didnt have to study. I also liked when Mr.Hampton did the TV because he made Etienne and Rafael got married! This week we in art we did a mequittes then we had to paint them. Thats it!
Tamika: My favorite moment in explore Oman Week was when we got to sail by ourseves. I also liked it when we did the TV, it was funny. In the holiday my family and I went to Peter Pan in Dubai. It had lots of acrobatics. This week in math we had a test. Then we started algebra 3. Noooooooooooo!!!!!!!
Shahad: My favorite moment in oman week was when we went snorkellng it was really fun to get to see the under sea world. I also liked when we did the TV it was really funny. I didn’t really do anything at my holiday. My cousins came and we just played around the house. This week in buddies we had a free play.
Kalea: My favourite part of oman week was snorkleing, (because it was my first ever time) capsizing and “T.V.” It was realy creative. During my holiday, I went to Muscat. I had so much fun. Also, this week at school we had buddies. We had free time. My buddies and I were drawing pictures. It was so much fun in the past three weeks.
Rafael: My favourite part about oman week was sailing and the tv. The sailing was fun when I was leaning and going really fast and racing Sultan. The tv was fun because we made parodies of tv shows and movies and we made even our own. On the holidays I went to Italy. I ate a lot of pizza, lasagna, massa and other typical Italian cusine and I probably gained 10 Kg.
This week we have been watching Inconvenient Truth. Its a great movie that Al Gore ( Albert Gore ) talks about climate change and how it is affecting us.
Etienne: my favorite part on oman week was the tv and sailing. For the tv I had the biggest laugh. I nearly suffocated I was laughing so hard. On the Switzerland trip I had lots of fun and one accident. I was snowboarding and skiing. On my second day of snowboading I crashed and tore my top lip open. The rest of the days I was skiing. This week we had lots to catch up on. We had to do Math, Arabic, Art, Music and Book Club. In math it was torture. We started a new algebra chapter. Algebra 3 the worst chapter in the world. It is level 5-6. For music we have so much work to do with our musical. Now we are learning all the songs from the scenes. I can’t wait for the next holiday.
Nicole: My favourite part in Oman Week was the tv and sailing. Those were my favourite parts beacuse the tv was funny and some of us acted out some tv shows and movies and ads. Mr. Hampton and the boys did some as well and it was really funny. Sailing was fun because I got to sail for the first time and capsizing was fun. My week off was kind of fun and boring at the same time. We went in Muscat to buy stuff that we need. It was kind of boring for me because we just stayed at home. This week we had an Arabic test and it was about female nouns and plurals. I hope I did good because Ms. Maram didn’t give us our tests back.
Hannah: My favorite part of Oman week was the tv and sailing. They were my favorite beause I loved to capsize and I liked to act and watch in the tv. My favorite part of the tv was watching because the boys and Mr. Hampton were really funny. My favorite part of the sailing was capsizing because it was so much fun to do. My week off I went to Switzerland on the ski trip. I stayed for a week in Switzerland. It was fun because every lunch time we went out for crepes. The skiing was the best part of it all. It does not look as hard as it is. It is really fun. This week we started a new chapter in math. It is called algebra 3. It is not as hard as it looks. We also have started teaching our song to the rest of the class.
Shamma: My favorite part of Oman Week was sailing and camping on the island. The best part in sailing was capsizing because falling off the boat is fun and exciting, except the part where any part of the boat hits your face.. The best part of camping on the island was the chubby bunny game because EVERYBODY did it! My week off I mostly just stayed at home and used the internet. Doing that was kind of fun because who doesn’t enjoy 6 days of the internet! This week in music we are finishing up our script so we can start rehearsing. The script turned out to be great and the songs are just as great! I cant wait to peform it!
