As the end of the academic year approaches we arrive at the time that most students hate – end of year exams! However, these are not a thing to be feared. Examinations give teachers crucial information about areas of the curriculum that need to be covered more closely in the next academic year and provide a guide for what students can do well.

Students in grades 8 and 9 have been given topic lists for study in Mathematics for the end of year examinations. Throughout the year they have shown competence at most of the topics included and as long as they plan effective (!) revision time and don’t leave things to the last minute they should be fine.

Good luck!
