This morning, Grades eight to ten students performed their Hip Hop dances to an audience made of parents, students and teachers. As part of their learning programme, the students were required to form their groups, choose their music, if necessary edit their songs, choreograph, sort out appropriate clothing and then perform in front of an audience. The students demonstrated competence, confidence and creativity in their endeavour and the final performances were original and diverse. I congratulate the students on their willingness to be Risk Takers – it really was fabulous to watch! Stay tuned for the students’ interpretation of Bollywood style at the end of the semester. The included videos (which I hope you can watch) are from a rehearsal earlier on in this quarter.
