This last weekend, December 12, four ABIS students participated in a BSM/ABIS joint workshop at the BSM dance studio.  They worked with ballet and contemporary, learned some lifts and then worked on some choreography.  The students from ABIS were a combination of IGCSE students and a couple from Grade ten who will be presenting a dance at the BSM show in March.  Coming to the workshops widens the experiences our older students have as well as giving them the opportunity to meet other dancers and teachers.  This in turn provides more ideas and moves that our students can use.

Usually quite expensive in other countries and schools, Miss Bamforth and I have worked this year to make these workshops a free event for our students which is indeed an unparallelled chance.

The videos below were taken on the day and show our students working on different moves.

Enjoy!
