This week in History class Grade 10 began reviewing the dreaded Paper 2. This exam is the sources-based exam; students are required to look at primary and secondary sources (in this year’s case, about European imperialism) and analyze those sources in six written responses.
Students generally despise this exam, though I must say they always do far better than they imagine they will. This week we looked at sources and annotated– the attached image is Grace’s annotated source, full of comments and insights. We then looked at a ‘guide‘ for the exam that includes tips and guidelines for answering the exam questions and reading sources.
Keep up the hard work, Grade 10!
