Grade 6 art students are busy creating pictures celebrating with light-hearted humour the spirit of inventiveness and imagination – crazy Rube Goldberg inspired images of gadgets of their own design. Some students are making large art pieces individualy in the art studio whilst others are collaborating to paint murals outside to decorate the school. In the process, as well as the drawing technique, students have also been exploring how to compose an image, arrange objects to tell a story and incorporate the human figure in active postures.
