Our focus this week was all about easing into our new routines, getting to know one another, and reactivating our math brains. Through collaborative activities and discussions, the students stepped back into the world of numbers by recapping key concepts and skills from last year. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm, willingness to share their thinking, and support for one another as we set the tone for a positive and curious learning environment.
With our classroom expectations and routines now comfortably in place, we are ready to dive into our first official MYP math unit next week.
