Another busy week in Grade 7 with lots going on! We were back on Sunday morning announcements as a whole section after a long time, so it was good to be together again. We have some excellent examples of Service as Action going on, and congratulations to Hamda and Jumana, who received a special mention in assembly for their amazing portfolios, full of research, evidence, and reflection.
On Tuesday, we started off the day with our current affairs section, sharing news stories from around the world. Tuesday afternoon then saw the windiest weather I have ever witnessed in Sohar! Wednesday morning at ABIS saw… NO INTERNET!!! The outage didn’t deter Grade 7! We sang the National Anthem a cappella. This was followed by an ethical debate, after which the boys held discussions while the girls took the opportunity for an impromptu game. Ms. Sharouq rounded off the week with PSHE.
Reports are due out today; please take time to read through these with your child. If you would like to meet with any teachers, there will be parent-teacher conferences on Wednesday after school and Thursday, so please sign up for a slot with the teacher concerned. Wishing you all a restful weekend. Best wishes, Grade 7 Team.
