This week in Grade 1, we explored watercolor painting in Art and enjoyed experimenting with color, creativity, and different painting techniques. In the classroom, we continued with our literacy and math centers, where students practiced comparing numbers and built their understanding of bossy r patterns. We also continued developing our informational writing, with a focus on dentists and our school librarians. Students have been working hard to share facts, build vocabulary, and express their ideas clearly in their writing. It has been a busy and engaging week of learning across many areas.
