Grade 1 recently visited Wadi Hibi as part of our How the World Works unit, โ€œThe Earth goes through constant change.โ€ ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’ง During the trip, students observed how water, rocks, sand and plants interact and saw firsthand how flowing water can slowly change the shape of the land. They connected these observations to our classroom learning about landforms such as wadis, mountains and valleys, and demonstrated the Learner Profiles of Inquirers and Thinkers as they asked questions and shared their ideas. This experience helped students deepen their understanding of Earthโ€™s features in a meaningful, local context, and we were very proud of how curious, respectful and engaged they were throughout the visit.
