We’ve made it to the end of Week 8! With only one more week separating us from the well-deserved mid-term break, it’s crunch time. As many summative assessments are happening now, please help your child keep their bodies and minds healthy by ensuring they are eating well, balancing schoolwork with other activities, and most importantly, getting enough sleep to stay alert and fully operational!

As Sifah Eventure Camp is a Go! Right up until the last minute, we were waiting with bated breath! We are now delighted to announce that the As Sifah Eventure Camp is officially going ahead! A huge thank you to all the parents who rallied around and encouraged others to let their children join. Let the excitement and planning begin!

Breast Cancer Awareness Bake sale: Next week on Tuesday, 21st October, the combined Student Councils will be holding a Bake Sale to raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness. This initiative is being led by the Upper School, and we are delighted that they have invited the Primary to join forces in support of this important cause. The sale will take place at snack time and at lunchtime. Please bring some money along and buy some treats to support this fantastic initiative!

Study Habits Workshop: On Wednesday morning, we were delighted to welcome Amar, a Grade 10 student, who came to share some invaluable advice with our students on how to develop good study habits and organisational skills. It was a wonderful, interactive presentation! Amar shared many tips on how to successfully navigate the MYP and keep up with the many different assignments and assessments.

House Team Competition: What a great way to end the week! Grade 10 students organised a really fun relay race! Can’t remember the final scores, but it was lots of fun! Great activity Grade 10.

A Reminder About Belongings: On a more serious note, we have had reports of student belongings being misplaced or going missing. We will continue to remind all students that they must keep track of their personal belongings while at school. We also suggest that, as a precautionary measure, all personal items are named or labeled. We especially recommend that headphones are named and have an identifiable, unique mark on them in case they are misplaced or taken by mistake.

Have a fantastic weekend!
Best wishes, G7 Advisory Team.
