This week in Grade 1, students used their speaking skills to share about a friend and compare ideas with Venn diagrams, practicing the words like, same, and different. As they presented, classmates showed the Caring learner profile by listening attentively, waiting their turn, and encouraging one another. Students also practiced self-management using quiet signals, sitting ready, and staying focused while building social skills by asking questions, making connections, and getting to know their peers. It’s been a joyful way to strengthen communication and community!
