Grade 9 students have been examining travel advertisements for their first unit of study.
This week, they had the opportunity to collaborate with a partner on a chosen advertisement; thus, using each other’s strengths in analysis to complete annotations of the advertisements. Finally, as their formative practice, they presented their analysis to their peers who were encouraged to show courage in learning by asking questions to help the team delve deeper into their analysis or identify misinterpretations.
