This week, our young authors began creating their own stories while learning about main characters and character traits. In Literacy, students practiced ending blends and rotated through engaging literacy stations, while also participating in small group guided reading sessions. In our Unit of Inquiry, we had a special treat as parents visited to read stories in their mother tongue—thank you for sharing your language and culture with us! Flat Teddy’s adventures also continued, including trips to the beach, reading time, scooter rides, and even enjoying some delicious dates! In Math, students are continuing to build their understanding of double-digit addition through hands-on activities and collaborative problem-solving. It’s been a joyful and busy week of learning!
