Another short but dynamic week in Grade 6. There are so many exciting things going on in the grade at the moment as we enter into the second half of our Exhibition products. Some of the highlights this week in Grade 6 include….
- Market research for Hot Chocolate, Carbonated drinks & Sweets
- Watching an affirmation wall and other props being created
- Experimenting with cartoon apps
- Considering how stop motion could enhance an inquiry
- Witnessing illusions and tricks of the hand
- Building an accurate eye test
- Developing a comedy routine using anecdotes
- Producing a sticker template to raise awareness of a cause
- Understanding net profit and gross profit
- Creating breakfast cereal box designs
- Switching ideas and being brave enough to diverge from a pathway
- Turning chemical reaction into a business
- Researching natural sources of caffeine
- Visiting leading Sohar Businesses to learn from experts
- Defining terms used to describe different coffees
- Designing experiments to test factors that may impact IQ
- Experimenting with perfume recipes
- Understanding the benefits of different ingredients
- Working out ways to document the travel of viruses
