They are here already. Starting on Monday, next week, the grade 12 students will be sitting their mock exams. They have the schedule (and should be preparing accordingly). The mocks serve two big purposes.
First, they familiarize students with the process. The exam conditions, how to fill in an IB style exam sheet, the sheer exhaustion of big exam after big exam.
Second, they are an important reflection point. These exams should highlight missing skills and/or knowledge. They should prompt all of our seniors to pause and think about both what they still need to do and how far they have come.
