Dear KG2 Families,

We are excited to share updates from this week’s learning journey with our little ones!

This week, we have been wrapping up our current Unit of Inquiry, How the World Works, as we prepare for the next unit.

Literacy Time:
The children were introduced to the letter O. They explored words that begin with this letter, practiced forming it, and created a fun art project by making orange lollipops. It was delightful to see their growing confidence with new vocabulary through activities like memory games and semantic coloring.

Mathematics:
We introduced the number 14 to the children, showing it on ten frames and using tallies to enhance their understanding. The children also enjoyed playing “Myrtle the Turtle,” a game designed to help them grasp the concept of numbers greater than 5.

Parent-Teacher Conferences:

We hope you have received your child’s progress report. If you wish to know how you can support your child’s learning and development, feel free to sign up for the Parent-Teacher Conferences, which will take place on Monday, 27th, and Tuesday, 28th, from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM
