This week we went to the Book Fair and what an amazing event it was. The students loved looking at all the different books and especially loved buying their own to take home.
We have been finding out about natural and man made resources this week and the students did a Feel/Think/Wonder, where they felt a number of objects and tried to work out what they were and what they were made of. We then discussed whether they came from the earth or if they were man made.
We then used our research skills to find out about which of the natural resources were renewable and which were non renewable, by watching videos and reading books.
Next week, we will do further research into water, trees and fossil fuels and look at which countries in the world are rich in which natural resources.
