How will ABIS fight Climate Change?
CARBON FOOTPRINT CALCULATOR – On Sunday, November 8th, all students will take a survey to find out our school’s carbon footprint and how we can improve.
POWER DOWN – Every day from 1:00 – 1:40 we will POWER DOWN by unplugging and switching off to save energy.
MEATLESS MONDAY! On Monday, November 9th, students and staff are encouraged to bring a waste free and MEATLESS free lunch. Primary will eat their lunch together in the MPA while watching a video about how eating less meat can help save the planet.
CAR POOL TODAY FOR A BETTER TOMORROW- All staff and students are encouraged to car pool to school and everywhere else! Take a photo of your car pool and add it to our Global Action board.
HOUSE TRIVIA CHALLENGE – Student’s knowledge about Climate Change will be challenging during a House trivia competition.
Individual classes will also be taking action throughout the week as ABIS fights Climate Change!
