This week in 1C, we began show and tell, connecting it to our unit as students presented their favorite items. It was wonderful to see them share in their mother tongues, fostering a deeper sense of cultural understanding and connection within the class. We also introduced iPads into our math centers, where the children started learning how to use Seesaw, a tool that will enhance their learning experiences. Next, we plan to introduce iPads in our literacy centers, allowing students to listen to stories and apply their knowledge through online activities. Additionally, we explored using sand in our literacy center, which provided a sensory element to our learning. Our ongoing work on how our choices impact others continued, with students collaborating in pairs to showcase their understanding. It was a week filled with sharing, technology, and hands-on exploration!
