Dear KG2 Families,

We’re excited to update you on the progress our young learners have made this week. It’s wonderful to see how quickly they’ve adapted to our daily routines, both inside and outside the classroom. Observing them participate in circle time, follow our rules, and engage in activities is truly rewarding. They’ve even started singing the songs we use to build their English vocabulary and speaking skills.

This week, we focused on the number 2, exploring its meaning using ten frames, dice, and tallis. We’ll continue to work on other numbers in the coming weeks.

In our letter activities, we’re continuing to help the children practice writing their names. We’re focusing on the sound of the first letter and using a capital letter. It’s been wonderful to see them progress! We’ve also begun reading the September poem with the kids, which they’re really enjoying. This week, our inquiry unit has been all about watching the children express themselves through play and how they interact with their classmates and teachers.

Wishing you a long and joyful weekend with your families!

Warm regards,
