Dear Families
A significant chapter closes for our International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma students this week as they sit their final exam. The class of 2024 have navigated the rigorous demands of one of the most challenging pre-university programs and now find themselves at the culmination of their academic journey.
For two years, they have juggled an intense curriculum encompassing six subjects, a 4,000-word Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge assessments, and various Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) projects. The program, renowned for its academic rigor and holistic approach to education, has demanded resilience, dedication, and a profound commitment to learning. These exams are not just a test of knowledge, but also a testament to the skills and growth they have undergone during their IB journey.
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate each of them. Their hard work and perseverance have enabled them to get to this moment. We can now look forward to celebrating with them at their Graduation Ceremony at Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Our Grade 10 students will also reach a significant milestone this weekend as they sit their final Middle Years Programme (MYP) eAssessment Exam. It marks the transition from the middle years to the broader horizons of the IB Diploma Programme, vocational training, or other educational paths.
Grade 11 students are currently sitting their End of Year Mock Examinations and we wish them success throughout this period. This is an opportunity for them to further develop their study skills and receive valuable feedback on areas of strength and areas needing further attention. Good luck!
Have a lovely weekend.
