This week we started thinking about data handling, what it means and why we do it. The students made their own tally charts to collect data about favourite foods and discussed what the information could be used for. Next week, we will gather data related to our unit of inquiry.
We also explored the difference between fact and opinion, in preparation for persuasive writing.
