Dear Families
Our School Student Council plays a crucial role in representing the student body and fostering a sense of community within the school. It serves as a platform for student voices to be heard, enabling them to actively participate in decision-making processes that affect their education and school environment. Members from each of the secondary grades are represented and they meet regularly to plan various events, fundraisers, and initiatives. We are very grateful to those who volunteer, including some of our staff members. It offers students valuable leadership opportunities, teaching them essential skills in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. They work closely with the school administration and are currently looking at ways to also work with our parent community. This week they organised a very successful bake sale. They made all of their own food and sold it to students from all grades during break and lunch time. It was another excellent way of bringing our primary and secondary students together.
Our next Secondary Coffee Morning will be on Tuesday 10th October from 8.00 – 9.30. During this time, we will have an opportunity to look at possible parent workshops in the future. I look forward to seeing you there.
Have a lovely weekend.
