WEEK 2
Dear Parents and Families of KG2,
Time has flown by, and another week has passed. We want to express our gratitude to all the families who joined us on Wednesday evening and engaged in discussions during our Information Evening. Your active participation and interest are highly valued. The following link will take you to our information letter. Please take some time and read through it when you can.
This week has been quite delightful for our young learners. They are showing remarkable adaptability to our daily classroom routines and are embracing the learning environment with enthusiasm. One highlight was the engaging number game that not only helped them with their numeracy skills but also filled the room with laughter.
We are extending our knowledge and thinking skills in Mathematics by:
- practicing number recognition
- practicing number value
- counting forwards/backwards
- sorting objects into groups according to their color
We are developing our writing, literacy and speaking skills in English by:
- listening to stories
- practicing writing our names correctly
- forming the letter ‘a’ correctly
- identifying parts of a story book
- speaking to each other in English
We are working on our Social Skills by:
- being a respectful person (this is very important) – showing kindness and caring to our friends, something we need to do everyday.
- improving on our listening skills – following instructions that are given in class (and at home)
- learning to use English words to communicate with each other.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend ahead 🙂
Warm regards
