Dear KG Families,

I hope this email finds you well and that you are ready and excited for your child to begin our new school year on Sunday morning.

My name is Ms. Khadija AlJabri and I am thrilled to introduce myself as your child’s KG2 homeroom teacher for this academic year. This is my second year as a teacher at the school. Previously, I worked as a teacher’s assistant in the same school for 6 years. Before joining the school, I also worked as a KG1 & KG2 teacher for 7 years. As a teacher “I believe that all children are unique and have something special that they can bring to their own education. I will assist my students to express themselves and accept themselves for who they are as well embrace the differences of others.

“Every classroom has its own unique community; my role as the teacher will be to assist each child in developing their own potential and learning styles. I will present a curriculum that will incorporate each different learning style, as well as make the content relevant to the students’ lives. I will incorporate hands-on learning, cooperative learning, projects, themes, and individual work that engage and activate students’ learning.”

Communication is key to a successful partnership between home and school. I am committed to keeping you well-informed about your child’s progress, achievements, and any concerns that may arise throughout the year. You can expect regular updates through weekly emails and broadcaster posts. If you ever have any questions, insights, or feedback about your child’s learning, please do let me know.

I strongly believe that a strong parent-teacher relationship plays an important role in a child’s educational experience. I am looking forward to meeting you all during the upcoming Parent Information Evening. This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet, share our expectations, and discuss the exciting year ahead. Further details about this event will be shared soon.
