WEEK 30
Dear Parents and Guardians of KG1,
We introduced to our new Unit of Inquiry – How The World Works (HTWW) – this week. We started discussing what materials would be best suited to make particular products and why. Our young students were introduced to the properties of different materials, such as texture, weight, flexibility, and colour. We had the opportunity to touch, feel, and observe various objects made of different materials, including wood, plastic, metal, and fabric. Our exploration of the concept of material will continue in the upcoming week.
We are reminded on a daily to keep working on our Communication and Social Skills by:
- using English vocabulary while conversing with one another
- engaging in sharing and taking turns.
- acting with principles and respect towards others, which is highly significant.
- demonstrating kindness and compassion towards our peers, something that should be a daily practice.
- ensuring that everyone is included in our games.
- enhancing our listening abilities by following the instructions provided in class and at home.

Have a good weekend.
Warm regards,
Miss Erasmus, Ms Buthaina, Ms Kamla and Ms Asila
