In English we have been completing a formative assignment: students have worked in groups to create posters based on a young activist. They have found out the focus of that activist’s work and made decisions on the success or otherwise. Our next step is to look at speeches in order to inquire about how to make a persuasive argument.
In Individuals and Societies we are investigating Ancient Civilizations. Students are completing a source analysis on the games in Ancient Rome. After that they will be investigating an Ancient Civilization in order to make judgements about its importance.
