WEEK 14
Dear Parents and Guardians of KG1,
This week we extended our knowledge and thinking skills in Mathematics by:
- practising our one-to-one counting more
- being able to represent a given number
- and being able to give digits their correct number name.
In Literacy this week our Unit Of Inquiry (UOI), Communication, is being continued by sharing stories and news with our friends. We are still concentrating on improving our self-management skills by listening and following instructions that are given in class. We are learning to resolve conflict situations amicably by practising and using different ways to approach how we deal with situations that are difficult for us.
We had a great time outside this week playing at the water park and taking part in Sports Day! This allowed us to:
- be caring and principled when interacting with our peers
- develop our sense of inquiry
- practice being a good communicator
