Service as Action is a foundational element of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP). It seeks to develop caring members of the community who act to make a positive difference to the lives of others and their environment. Many of our students engage in these activities and this week they received a presentation from a key organisation in Sohar, who provided them with ideas and opportunities to provide service. We now look forward to see how they act upon this information.

Monday 10th October is our second parent coffee morning for Secondary Parents. I look forward to welcoming you between 8.00 – 9.30am.

Tuesday 11th October we will be taking our Grade 9-12 students to the Edutrac Conference in Muscat. There they will have an opportunity to meet with Training, Career and Higher Education institutions. This will be a valuable experience as they consider their future.

On Monday 10th October we will be hosting a Senior basketball match with a local school. It is exciting to be able to provide these kind of opportunities again. We welcome all of our school community to come along and support the team in the school sportshall. The away team will be arriving at 16.00 and tip off will be soon after.

I wish everybody a great long weekend and remember to not attend school until Monday!
