Welcome to Grade 1 AW. I am looking forward to teaching one of seen my Grade 1 classes with Ms Guinee. Ms Adhb and Ms Ami are the amazing teacher aides in our classes. I feel a little like a global citizen of the world! My mother comes from the Netherlands, I grew up in South Africa and immigrated to New Zealand. For the last 6 years, I’ve have been teaching at ABIS in the early years. It is so rewarding to watch many children and (families) develop and grow up. I had a fantastic holiday this year, travelling around New Zealand and seeing lots of friends- I was in the snow at Mount Cooke, lost on a hiking trail, walks on the beach and visited many inspiring art galleries. I would love to hear what your children and you have been doing. It would be a wonderful way for all of us to connect if you can send a few holiday photos.
