This first week back, the DP Music students are focusing on Music Theory. What is Theory, you ask? Theory is the vocabulary and structures that help Music make sense. Since Music is Mathematics with sound, Music Theory is full of formulas and patterns that help create and manage the structure of the composition. Just like learning your times tables, memorizing and identifying the patterns helps to make the structure of the piece come to life. J.S. Bach, here we come!
