In English we finished reading the book ‘Red Scarf Girl,’ and discussed how it traced the growth into adulthood of the author.   We discussed the harrowing experiences that she had and how she came to the decision that she would look after her family rather than renounce it.   Students are now working in a screen play of part of the book for their summative assessment.

In Individuals and Societies we have completed our revolutions unit.  Students completed a research project into an important revolutionary individual.  They then debated about whether revolutions can or do change things for the better.
