This week we have been exploring different materials and finding some which we could make hats from. The children eliminated hard materials such as metal and wood. They chose foil, fabric, card and paper. They had a wonderful time constructing and designing their hats . Next week we will have a hat parade. Ms Kamla made nest cakes with the children after telling them a story and playing an egg game with them last week and Ms Buthaina gave gifts and played a game for Qaranqsho. We have also been working on our questions in language and in maths we have been collecting data. The children took agency by making questionnaires and asking their classmates interesting questions so they Could collect the data.
