To celebrate Earth Day on April 22nd, the primary students did a quick 20 minutes community clean up. We collected several bags of trash, it made us feel really good to help clean our community! During lunch we watch The Lorax and finished it today during break time. The Lorax has a very good environmental message, we all really enjoyed watching it on the big screen in the MPA. Each class also did something special to celebrate Earth Day and then shared what their class did at the Earth Day assembly. It was nice to see so many caring students! The Green Flag Committee also shared our progress with Eco Schools. We earned our Bronze Certification!!!! This is exciting news for us as we have been working hard to make our school more environmentally friendly. The Green Falg Committee also revealed our new Eco Code that we will follow at ABIS.
