Dear KG2 Parents,
The second week of our current inquiry “Sharing the Planet” was packed with learning engagements focusing on our Solar System. The children have begun to form a general idea about all the planets in our Solar System as well as our sun. Next week, we will focus on Planet Earth and how it is different from other planets.
This week, our interactive reading book was “Pete the Cat and His Magic Sunglasses” by Kimberly and James Dean. The children enjoyed listening to this book. We focussed on some vocabulary words and the children joined in the reading. As a follow up activity, we had a Pyjama Day with our real and imaginary sunglasses.
