This week we started our ‘Rainbow Food Warriors’ chart. The students have been sorting through the play foods and sorting them into what they like and don’t like to eat and researching if they are healthy or unhealthy. In Art they have been looking at the shapes and colours of different foods and painting them. In story time we have been looking again at The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. The children have been matching the play foods to the ones in the story, they have also made conclusions about why the caterpillar feels sick and the meaning of balanced diets.

We would like to thank everyone for their support by providing healthy snacks and lunches for their children. All the students were very excited to show everyone their rainbow foods.
