Enzymes are biological catalysts that speed up chemical reactions. Grade 9 students have been researching how enzymes work and how some factors affect them, in particular the temperature. Just like with enzymes and chemical reactions, the pace in Science has been increasing also recently. Students from grades 7, 8 and 9 have been very busy this week getting some tests done.
There is no rest for enzymes except when they denature….
Same was applicable for Science students around here last week, but changes in temperature do not seem to affect them as much, though!!!
