I was lucky enough to go with the Grade 2 students on a wonderful trip today. After a fun journey we arrived at the most amazing castle surrounded by a plateau with a sea of date palms. We split up into groups and my group found a ‘secret place’ with a beautiful mosque and a washing area with a real well in the middle of it. We were able to hear the bucket hook splash into the water as it hit the water.
After that it was five minutes in the bus to the hot springs. We all had a great time paddling and splashing around in the clean and warm water…. Fantastic. After the drive home the children were playing in their classroom and the adults were getting dinner ready.
They are all ver excited about camping at school tonight… Let’s see how much sleep they get!
