In History class, the First World War has come to an end and it’s time to discuss peace. In preparation for our upcoming unit on the Paris conference of 1919, Grade 9 students played out a simulation this morning, with each student playing the part of one of the major countries of the war.
The students did a great job of getting into their roles and making their cases for what the peace in Europe should look like. Plus, Claire made ANZAC biscuits. Plus…we all wore mustaches. Hey, they were in high fashion in 1919.
