This has been a fun term for the grade 11s, easing into DP math with measurements, shapes and some basic trigonometry. These are the building blocks to so many jobs and disciplines in the real world. The pace will be stepping up in the new term and there will be a focus on disciplined work. It is our hope to attempt the IA (internal assessment) component of the DP in grade 11 – thereby freeing up many valuable hours in grade 12 to focus on exams.
The grade 12s will be working on their IAs over the holidays and preparing a draft for presentation before the end of January. So, on that note, enjoy the holidays. Be safe and come back refreshed and ready to work!
