Can you describe yourself using pictures only? Grade 10 French students were asked to do just that by adding their “identity collage” to our class collection. After choosing pictures to represent their backgrounds and cultural identity, students briefly presented themselves to their classmates.
In their current unit of study, Grade 10 students are exploring the concept of relationships and communication with others and the impact they both can have on how our identities are formed. We’re starting by examining our relationships with those closest to us, our family members and friends.
