This week the Grade 5KL students were given the task of writing a recipe for an interesting omelette. Once they had written the recipe I asked them to film themselves making it, as if they were a real TV chef, and then make an advertisement for the omelette. As we are learning about measurement in mathematics it fitted in well. The students also had the opportunity to practise the imperative form of a verb when they wrote the recipe.
