We learned about the different ways stories can be told by exploring the tale about the Gingerbread Man. We read the story and acted it out with finger puppets. We listened to a song and compared the characters and endings in both. Then the students chose what character they would like to be in the Gingerbread Man play. We ended up having 3 Gingerbread Men, 2 Old ladies. We also had 2 sharks and a lion that were in none of the versions we listened to. The students created masks and acted out the story to their peers. Please enjoy the video of the play on your child’s Seesaw account. We also made some Holiday cards and cookies related to Gingerbread Man in class.
