Today was our first day of sailing. Those sails are heavy! We learned how to rig the boat, name all the equipment and how to tack and how to steer round a bouy in the enclosed harbor area. Afternoon skills included not falling in the water (like Ms Tomlinson) and how to KNOT rope.
Dinner last night was enjoyed by all, thanks to Ms Znaidi’s chili con carne skills. Tonight we have chicken stir fry followed by fruit and then hot chocolate and marshmallows round the camp fire.
