This week, both Grade 7 and Grade 8 continued preparing for their upcoming Criterion D: Writing assessments.
Students expanded their French vocabulary, strengthened their grammatical structures and continued improving the organisation and design of their final products. They also reviewed their plans carefully, making thoughtful changes to ensure that their writing communicates a clear message and follows the conventions of the required text type.
There is always room for games in our classroom too, especially when they give students an enjoyable way to practise vocabulary, retrieve previous learning and build confidence in using French.
This term has brought challenges and new experiences for all of us. Throughout the journey, our students have demonstrated their knowledge and shown that they can apply and transfer their skills to different texts, tasks and learning situations. Their growing confidence, perseverance and creativity have been wonderful to see.
I wish all our students and families a restful, enjoyable and well-deserved break.
Ms. Nuria
