Dear KG2 Families,

Here is a quick look at all the exciting things our children have been learning over the past few days.

In Maths, we explored the concept of heavy and light. The children had great fun using balance scales for hands-on practice, learning that when one side goes down it means heavy, and when the other goes up, it means light. We also spent time practising our number shapes.

In Phonics, we introduced the letter P p. The children loved listening to the letter story, singing the song, and joining in with all the actions. Alongside this, we worked on fine motor skills, and the children really enjoyed cutting and pasting to put together their tiger puzzles.

In our Unit of Inquiry, Who We Are, we focused on how the brain acts as the “boss” of our body! We played a memory game where the children used their brains to spot missing objects, as well as a movement game where they followed action cards to see how the brain directs their movements.

You are very welcome to click the link below to enjoy some photos of what we got up to this Week 6 .

Wishing you all a lovely and restful weekend!

Warm regards,

Ms. AlJabri and Ms. Maryam
