What a wonderful week of learning and growing! Our little learners have been busy developing their skills across all areas of learning.

Phonics & Literacy
We have been practising blending sounds to read words and developing our decoding skills. We also started some group guided reading, where we worked together to read and understand texts. The children enjoyed making their own little booklets while practising their comprehension skills and thinking about what they have read.

Maths
In Maths, we explored comparing numbers, learning to identify which numbers are bigger and which are smaller. The children enjoyed different activities to practise comparing numbers and explaining their thinking.

Unit of Inquiry – Emotions
We completed our colourful Emotion Scribble Monsters! Through this activity, we talked about different emotions, how they can make us feel, and appropriate ways we can act and respond when we experience different feelings. It has been lovely to see the children becoming more confident in talking about their emotions and recognising how others may feel too.

Well done to everyone for another fantastic week of learning! We are so proud of the effort, curiosity and enthusiasm the children are showing each day.

Have a wonderful weekend, and we look forward to another exciting week ahead!
