What a wonderful week of learning we’ve had!
Literacy: We are becoming more confident with reading and writing small CVC words. We’ve been building our vocabulary by listening carefully to sounds, identifying them, and manipulating sounds on our whiteboards.
Math: We are continued counting and ordering numbers. Some of us can now confidently order numbers all the way to 50! We also used blocks to build our own cities to represent numbers, making our maths learning hands-on and fun.
Understanding ourselves and others: We learnt more about ourselves and our friends by exploring the world map and finding our different countries. We then coloured flags from our home countries, celebrating the wonderful diversity within our classroom.
We are so proud of the progress, curiosity and enthusiasm the children are showing each day. What a fantastic Week 3!
